Introduction

Repti Bark which is made by ZooMed is a great substitute for all sorts of bedding’s. It has a reuse feature where all you have to do is rinse it out with hot water then let dry in the sun. As well you can mist it lightly or heavily to help bring up the humidity levels in your cage. Although it is not recommend for use with baby reptiles who have not learned the art of not eating there bedding because it can cause impaction. It can be used with snakes and lizards mainly tropical species but we have used it with some desert species.

Jungle Mix

Brief Description

Zilla has some nice products out there, one of them being there jungle mix bedding which is made up of sphagnum peat moss and fir shavings. These two ingredients provide your animal with the most natural looking environment. It will not only please your animal but it will help keep its health up to par by maintaining the proper humidity levels, giving your reptile areas to dig and burrow, and most importantly it is not thick and bulky and does not expand inside the intestinal track which can cause impaction. With jungle mix you do not need to worry about any additives.
