Introduction

The Digital Aquatics Herp Keeper was just released not to long ago and we are trying to get our hands on it. When we get one we will be doing the same type of review series as we are doing with the Eco-Zone Vivarium Controller. This device unlike the eco-zone has separate modules for networking, powering, controlling, etc. so it may be a bit more pricey but will help automate your vivarium or terrarium and even racks.

In this series we will be reviewing the eco-zone vivarium controller. It has a lot to offer for new keepers and even advanced keepers. It features a built in Ethernet port for a web accessible interface or UI for short. Along with temperature and humidity probes. It has a email/text alert system that does not cost extra and on top of that you can access it with a mobile device or from a remote location. This controller has many possibilities with I/O connections so can create a thunderstorm effect or a light to alert you when something is wrong.
